Ahlan! Hello!

Hello! Ahlan! This post is about what to expect and the inspiration that helped create the Naudic 2012 High Summer Collection. Enjoy.
Morocco’s rich culture is reflected in Naudic’s 2012 summer collection.
The range is characterised by a searing bright colour palette of sunset orange, emerald green, capri blue and rose violet influenced by the colours of this beautiful north African country
Our never-ending love affair with vibrant mosaic prints and intricate embroideries capture the artisan spirit.
The summer range includes crotchet, vivid colour, bright prints, paisley prints, sundresses and casual layering – all big trends in the casual market.
The new range is a low key approach to style by combining
timeless pieces with diverse elements
A subtle rumpled elegance with an undeniably bohemian chic style.

We are conscious of forth coming season fashion trends and colours but our design focus is on what colours and style will appeal to our Naudic customer.
Our philosophy is not to continually re-invent but to evolve our brand.  .

Table Settings, It's Time for a Picnic

Going back through old and new photos I realised how many different tablecloths we've made over the past year. Aari embroidery on bright blue, red, green and yellow backgrounds. Suzani prints in four, six and eight seater sizes, with all the extra trimmings.

Patchwork numbers to show off all the different prints we've collected over the past year. Kantha stitched prints with contrasting backings. Plus I've thrown in a few holiday snaps from a recent trip where we had some good times, over something great to eat and drink. We hope you enjoy the bright spark these tablecloths bring to your celebration around the table.
Let the celebrations begin with the longer afternoons setting in.

When Colours Collide

What's new and exciting, it's when colours, fabrics and accessories collide and the new range is created each season. That's what we love to do at Naudic and bring to life.

The art of wearing it all, is a true expression of what you're about and where you're at. Mixing vibrant prints in carnation, angel and chocolate, intricate embroidery, delicate chantilly lace, ikat, paisley and ruffle prints.

How about when it is all worn together! Mix in brilliant white, add lots of beads, bracelets and baubles. What do you get? Naudic spring!
We hope you enjoy the latest spring pieces, now in store and drop us a line or send us a photo, of you in your Naudic spring and we will post it to the tribe.

Chill-laxing

We all know its important to take time out, quick mini-breaks or longer vacations to catch your breath and break routines. Being able to really enjoy precious moments with family and friends, enjoying the present and to plan for the future.

Relaxing the body and to rejuvenate the spirit allows us to move peacefully into new situations and opens your mind to unknown possibilities.

We work hard and play hard to be able to capture some chill out time during holidays and enjoy other activities with our children. Where do we spend our time with our kids during school holidays?

Well, hanging out at horse paddocks, skate parks, anything near water and a good walk, plus eating some ice-cream, always creates stories to tell.

Even catching up on some news over a good cup of coffee in a beautiful setting adds energy to the mind and body.

Finding your perfect chill out zone is inspiring, make it a regular booking. It creates magic that is difficult to explain.

How to dress in Winter

With the cold season just upon us now, in the mornings, I often have no clue what to put on and still look ..........kind of ......reasonably interesting. Then as the temperatures heat up during the day, with the glorious winter sun, the layers start being peeled off. (I'm usually back down to thongs and a kaftan by mid afternoon)

Here are some tips that work for us and our close friends, to help you make the most of your wardrobe through these cold months without having to reinvent yourself.

Under dresses and tunics, a good pair of leggings or bright tights, coloured jeans or jeggings work well.

Another great combination is a printed tunic with coloured cords.

An open weave knit can then be worn over the top like a poncho or a long cardigan, or velvet jacket to avoid getting swallowed up by your clothing.

With tops, anything goes with jeans so get creative then add a bright scarf, to add colour to the winter basics. We love printed bright scarves with winter clothes.

And of course something from the costume jewellery department to finish it off.

I love bringing out my boots from year to year, giving them a wipe down and start walking the street. Boots are always a good staple to lift an outfit and don't feel you need to make everything match, high knee socks in grape, denim, deep blues look great with winter khaki, navy and walnut colours. Get creative because .........

Have fun. Bring Back Life

Winter Layering

As we enter the cooler months, it is a time to start layering one of our favourite pieces, the tunic.  We adore this style at Naudic as it elongates your torso and gives a sophisticated girly touch to any bottom piece you wear it with.

There are so many options to layer a tunic: with jeans, with leggings, with wide legged pants or over a slip, or one of our favourites in the Naudic range, the Olivia skirt.  Add a simple necklace and a few bracelets, slip on your ballet flats and you are ready for the day or put on some heels, choose the slip option and you are ready for the evening.  You’ll find our latest winter tunic styles in store now, look out for Andriana, Sorrento Garden floral, Josie and Evita.

Send us an image of how you wear your tunic!

You won't be disappointed

We are back from the trade show tour, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Sydney again, and showings in Brisbane. You won't be disappointed, the Naudic stockists went for it, so look out for the first delivery which will be end of July and beginning of August. There are plenty of newly designed prints, original styles are back (Sao Paolo, Suzani) and new styles to look out for (Cocos, Venice, Miami), with new jewellery to kick start the Spring.

We had some fun along the way, watched the sunset from the Espy top deck, wined and dined our way around Melbourne. Tried to watch Courtney in a dragshow show in Oxford street (got to late so we had to bail), had great meals at The Winery, The Bridge Room and The Opera Bar, all with our lovely crew of Bella, Becki, Lisa, Sara, Sheddy.

Here are some snapshot to sum it up. Until next time Bring back Life!
